Better late than never Richmond

    Oh, lord, Frank. Do some research on that statue. You want to know how little Richmond's changed? Putting a statue of that black man on the same street with the Confederate generals apparently riled up everyone.

    They ended up putting him like four blocks away from the rest.

    Plus, it pretty much implies that he hates kids who don't read enough, so he threatens to beat them with his tennis racket.

    There's also a statue of Matthew Fontaine Maury, the father of the Confederate navy, on Monument Avenue which, between the Powhite Parkway crossover and the terminus at VCU, is one of the prettiest urban boulevards in the country.

    Has the T-D apologized for the Civil War yet?
