Best Sports Movie that doesn't end with a big game/fight/match whatever

    Man, it's hard to even think of many. The Basketball Diaries? Blue Chips doesn't end with a particularly big game, but it's not a particularly great movie either.

    Ah crud. Duh.
    I think the fact that the Bears went 1-13 that season (worst ever to this day) was one of the things that made that movie.

    How about Semi-Tough? The Super Bowl happens near the end of the movie, but the climax to the story is SPOILER ALERT with the wedding.
