I first thought this thread was titled Best Bush Song Ever? and I thought, "WaylonJennings to the white courtesy phone, please." :p

I've always liked "The Temples of Syrinx."

Ugh. You can have it. If I never hear that song again, I'd be a happy man.

Their catalogue beyond that is awesome beyond words, though!

This is a trick question. There isn't one.

Best Rush song played on The Colbert Report (includes funny interview beforehand):

Tough call on best Rush song ever, so here's 10 at random:

2112 (Side 1 of the album)
    Red Barchetta
    YYZ
    La Villa Strangiato
    Lakeside Park
    Bravado
    Losing It
    Different Strings
    Mystic Rhythms
    Witch hunt

And then for Flying Headbutt: Best Hartford Whaler? Do they have Burger Kings in Connecticut? But seriously, the answer is Merlin Malinowski.

Just saw their show on Saturday night. Really good. Really interesting seeing so many 40- and 50-somethings there with their kids.

Their best song would probably have to be Tom Sawyer. But my personal favorite is a dead heat between Distant Early Warning and Analog Kid.
