    Kids and young adults who grew up cheering for Johnny U. --- myself included --- are between 45 and 60 years old.

    We're not dead.

    And neither is Don Shula . . . who coached the guy, for crying out loud.

    Exactly. I'm sure that would come as a surprise to the people so many of us talked to for reaction stories the day Unitas died. They sure didn't seem dead.
