    Don't know if he was ever a pro, but I always enjoyed Margin Hooks.

    I did a story on a gymnastics team and was talking to a coach, but I didn't quite get her name.
    "B.J.," she said. "B.J. Hard."
    When I found out her name was Brunelda Jean, I realized there were worse things than being called B.J.

    Guy who used to be the SE at the Laurel, Miss., paper was named Richard Strength. I happened to be sitting next to him at a Southern Miss game one time when someone actually asked him why he went by Richard. His only answer was, "think about it for a second."

    guy near here was named reprobatus bibbs. hell of a basketball player.
    got busted for drugs, too.
