    Ira is the best sportswriter I have ever heard on the radio.

    Ever.

    And, "radio" is a key word there.
     
  2. Jason Quick is damn good. Tough and never backs down. Turns out good in-depth features, too, with strong perspective. And he never backs down, even after all the years to going to war daily in the Jail Blazers' locker rooms.

    I always liked Chris Sheridan when he was at AP. Now that he's at ESPN, he's doing stupid stuff like the Rasheed Wallace shit. But that's cause they lobotomize you when you sign your contract at Bristol. And Sheridan's replacement at AP, Brian Mahoney I think, is one of the worst.
