Best movie endings

As far as comedies go, it's hard to beat the end of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Hell, the closing credits are as funny as anything else in the movie.

 

Just in terms of the ending: "Smokin' Aces 2." It put a nice twist on the overdone retreads of "The Usual Suspects," which has a great ending in its own right.

"Se7en," "The Graduate," and "A Few Good Men" are some of my favorites.

 

I liked the Godfather's ending. But Part II's ending was even better.

I echo the love for 'The Shawshank Redemption.' Just beautiful.

And I never fail to tear up at the end of Apollo 13. I have seen it a bunch of times (I own it and yet, every single time it's on TV, I'll watch it) but that moment when Ed Harris has a private moment and wipes his eyes is just powerful.

Memento (I laughed out loud, not because it was ha-ha funny, but because Guy Pearce's moment of insouciance, after all that, was just fucking perfect).
