And they changed the varieties in different parts of the country this year. No samoas or tagalongs in NJ this year, but I don't eat either of those anyway.

Didn't Thin Mints win in a landslide in SHEEP? Yes. Yes, I think they did.

 

Why the fuck aren't Samoas sold by anyone else?

God I'd eat six boxes a day of those things if I could.

 

Yep. Those were Thin Mints, all right.

Or Samoas. I could demolish a box of those right now.

 

The Samoas come in three rows of five. They'd never last the day in my house.

 

Samoas. You can buy other really good types of chocolate/mint cookies elsewhere, but you can't get anything close to Samoas.

I'm looking for a box ... we don't know any Girl Scouts this year, and the guy whose daughter sold them last year at work got laid off.

We don't have those flavours of cookies in Canada - only a chocolate or white sandwich cookie. I picked Thin Mints in SHEEP because it's the one they mention in sitcoms.

Man, I'd eat this cookie ALL day long.

 

I used to sell 400-500 boxes of cookies every year. It helped that a couple of the guys at my dad's office would buy a case from me every year. They'd store the case under their desks and then on Fridays the department would all eat girl scout cookies.

Also, my parents refused to take order forms for my sister and I. We had to go and ask everyone ourselves. Now, I won't buy from people at work who just bring in the order form because I had to go around to the offices and beg when I sold. I think it's a right of passage to have to ask people to buy cookies from you. Having a parent take the form feels like a sell-out to me (no offense to parents here who take forms for kids. It's just something that is/was important to me)
