From somewhat of an obscure movie:

I vote for Terrell from the original "Bad Boys" movie (the one that stars Sean Penn and Esai Morales). In a juvy prison, he gets tossed over the rail from the second floor by Tweety and lands on his back in the middle of the commons. Pretty cool effect as his head hits the floor in a three-shot sequence. Very realistic.

    Darth Vader

Alan Rickman in Die Hard. (He had a super cheesy death in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" that could go on a best or worst list).

Everyone at the end of "True Romance."

Great call. The way he makes his eyes go blank, if I was on set I would have sent for a doctor.

Tim Roth's character (can't think of his name) in Rob Roy. Never has a character who needed to die done so more appropriately.

Staying with Liam Neeson movies. I don't remember much about Darkman, but the manhole scene and the noise that accompanied it stick in my memory.

Adam Goldberg and Giovanni Ribisi are good calls in Private Ryan.

    Capt. Queenen in The Departed.

    Joe Pesci in Goodfellas.

    Suicide in Dead Poet's Society

Full Metal Jacket, when creampuff offs himself in the head, and in the head.
Untouchables, when Capone plays Home Run King with "teamwork's" head.
Kill Bill when bombshell hotbox creates a ninja bloodbath deep enough for Olympians to dive into.
    The ending of The Notebook.

Western called "Vera Cruz" made in the '50s. Final shootout between hero Gary Cooper and villain Burt Lancaster, shot from from behind Coop.

Guns blaze, Lancaster smiles, twirls revolver around thumb, slams it into holster, keels over dead.

Keyser Soyze killing his own wife and kids in "The Usual Suspects."

That's some cold-blooded shit right there.

Carlo in "The Godfather." Nothing like a good garroting.
    Same goes for Luca Brasi.
Joe Pesci's character in "Casino," getting double-headered with his little brother.
Morrie in "Goodfellas." Short, simple, to the point.
Chinese missile battery officer in "Diamonds Are Forever." Same with Dr. Tynan.
    The villain in "Sharky's Machine."
Peter Graves in "Stalag 17." By his own soldats.
And I can't believe no one has mentioned anybody, especially William Holden, from the end of "The Wild Bunch."
