Psshh. We all know cricket and curling are 1-2 everywhere in the world. The sooner you all accept that, the better.

I'll vote Lou Whitaker into the Hall before I do that. ...

Every now and then, my friend BYH stops being a dickhead and says something that is absolutely correct!

Cranky old-timer here says there was no "has" in the quote referenced in the subject line.

If it wouldn't have been for mine and Mike's play-by-play we'd still be on page 12.

Keep it to PMs, and have a Happy Yankees Are Six Games Back Day.

In other news, the Indians got a big win tonight, but Carl Crawford's faux pas didn't help any.

The Twins are looking tough to beat these days; Zeke, where did Scott Baker come from?

Big series for the Phillies today as the open against the Marlins. They need to take 2 of 3 or sweep them away, while the Mets and Braves beat up on each other.

And then the Braves head to Philly. The NL East could definitely look different a week from now.

And how bad does losing Soriano hurt the Cubs? Seemed like they were getting ready to dust the Brew Crew, but this could be a bigtime setback.

Screw the Phils, just get Utley & Victorino back so they can start putting up numbers. I need my fantasy team to at least try to look respectable.

Also, I think I'm going to lose a bet with someone at my gym over the Yankees not making the playoffs. Anyone know a decent merlot that won't empty my wallet?
