Where do Mormons fit into your religion & democracy world view?

I know what one leading evangelical believes, and it ain't good news for Mittens!

As an Agnostic, I am sick & tired of people saying God has asked them or told them to do something. "Laying (something) on their heart" is one thing. "Telling" them is another.

And, BTW, I am so glad that, at the end of the article, editors clarified her statement about having 28 children (Yes, I know they were foster kids. I just got a kick out of the "28 children" Bachmann and her husband have had having been mentioned).

"Carl this is God, stop pointing at me"

Read in Dan Shaughnessy column a while back on Carl Everett.

    Still laugh at it.

I've never heard of Bachmann. I have a feeling I'm not alone.

    Thus the GOP's internal dilemma.

And you wondered why Huck hates Mitt, silly.

With the truest believers (Da Qwitter, Bachmaniac), if you ain't with 'em, you're against 'em. And they won't say that straight out, in a public forum. But if you don't fall into lockstep with their social beliefs (especially
the right to family planning), you become more of a non-person than someone exiled to the
    archipelago.

Good luck emerging with a united party, given that broad mode of thinking indulged in by major players.

What does it say about the Minnesota children/families department that she's been allowed to serve as a foster parent to 23 kids, as she loved to brag about?
In many states, we call that wreckless endangerment.
