    And in Denver, the Rockies have already jumped out to a 1-0 lead.

    With a 3-run double to open the score to 7-2, Magglio Ordonez raises his average to .299549.

    Atlanta's inning-ending FC ended a streak of 11 straight outs via the strikeout. With a double and a walk mixed in.

    Okay, that was a cute couple weeks and all, but *now* can we start the playoffs?

    Nolasco strikes out Diaz with two on and two outs in the 7th. Fish lead 5-2.

    15 Ks through 7. Wonder if they'll let him try for 20 in his last start of the year. (I'm guessing not. But hell, go for it.)

    Back to just being Martinez now. Moyer tore three muscles in his groin and abdomen last night. He's done for the season.

    How many pitches?

    Leave him in, at least 'til the tying run comes up. Are you really going to hurt his arm by letting him go for 20 Ks and resting for five months? Christ.

    16 Ks with 4 outs to go. Leave him in 'til the tying run comes up.

    That's weak. ::)
