    God, I hope not.

    Barry Bonds: A's
    Tom Glavine: Braves
    Jason Schmidt: Mariners
    Barry Zito: Mets
    J.D. Drew: Red Sox
    Carlos Lee: Giants
    Alfonso Soriano: Cubs
    Juan Pierre: Giants
    Mark Mulder: Dodgers

Probably a stupid question, but what is the likelihood of Carlos Lee going back to Milwaukee if they offer him a major contract in the ballpark (a bit higher) of the one they offered before his trade to Texas? I am clueless as to what Milwaukee will spend, if anything, but am under the impression another starter couldn't hurt them, and that's where they will look first.

PS – Any takers on Geoff Jenkins in a trade, or does he stay due to his $$$?

Yeah, but you know Hillenbrand is exactly the kind of free agent the Pirates always sign.

    My guesses....

    Alfonso Soriano - Phillies
    Barry Bonds - Giants
    J.D. Drew - Red Sox
    Joe Borowski - Red Sox
Shea Hillenbrand - Pirates (Like I said before, it really does seem like their kind of move)
    Barry Zito - Mets
    Sean Casey - Tigers
    Nomar Garciaparra - Dodgers
    Gary Matthews, Jr. - Angels
Gil Meche - Yankees (Potential disaster here. Lots of potential fun when he gets lit up in April)

Angels are definitely going to sign a big bat for the lineup this offseason. Bill Stoneman's conservative when it comes to trades, but the free-agent market is where he usually shines (Jeff Weaver notwithstanding).

Jays have apparently signed Frank Thomas. First question is, why?

It's official. Casey re-signs with Tigers, one-year deal.

Good...I was worried the Pirates would bring him back.

I plan to go 0-for-10 in Group A and 7-for-7 in Group B.

And the Tigers will also win out since they likely won't go after Aubrey Huff now.

So who needs a left handed first baseman now (ill let BYH add the over the hill part)
