    If you want to knock the hyperbole, fine. But Lord above, it's not just managers who engage in that.

    Since Gannett took over as the voice of newspapers sadly, I'd have to agree with him about MEs, executive editors and publishers and owners. I won't say ALL, but all I've come across are clueless snakes. Some sports editors still are OK. Some do have the guts to fight back. That's my experience anyway. You give me an example of any higher up in Gannett who is not a corporate weasel. I am assuming there are not many.
