    wtf are you talking about? someone messed up with the production? yeah it sucks for the fans but where does the 'wasting money' thing come in?

    I thought for sure this was a d_b or Tim special about how the Albert Belle and Scott Erickson signings did not work out for the Orioles.

    O's paid for the dolls and now will have to make another 20k because they messed up. Hence, wasting money.

    f4l, you have no idea what you're talking about. where does it say that the orioles messed this up? where does it say that the orioles, not the manufacturer, are paying? do you have a copy of the contract between the team and manufacturer which contains a provision stating who pays for remakes? do you know who's fault it was -that they were messed up (the team's or the manufacturer's)?
