Bad news: My flight to Atlanta is delayed 2 hours, causing me to miss my connecting flight home.
Good news: They rebooked us on another flight to a nearby airport in first class.
Good news: Wifi throughout the airport I'm waiting in.
Bad news: It's 3.95 an hour.
Good news: Saranac pale ale available at airport.
    No bad news after that.

Spend your money on the beer, not the internet.

I hate you. After spending yesterday on a ferry and then two trains to get to Paris, the RER was closed for repairs today and I missed my flight. I might have still made it if US Airways had put my terminal number on my ticket. So I am paying 130 Euros for a hotel room (where I just had a meal of about 60 Euros) so that I can get home a day late in cattle class and miss the first day of rehearsals for my new show.

And the couple in the room above mine just started having what seems to be extremely athletic sex.

    Baisse mon cul.

Sorry to hear that, HC. Two bits of wisdom:

    1. Don't fly US Airways anywhere.
    2. Use the Air France bus from Paris to CDG, not the RER.

I didn't book (or pay for) the flight. And I've used the RER without problem before.

Did I mention that I hate US Airways?

Bad news: I had to cover a Civil War Re-enactors baseball game.
Good news: The game got called in the 5th inning as it was 24-3.
Bad news: I've got to sit around while my editor slowly gets around to copyediting it.
Good news: An hour or so 'til I'm done with work and I have two of the next three days off. :D

  9. You may call it a loss, but the confederate team just calls it an intermission.

The southerners called it "a baseball game between the states."

How about a "game of Northern aggression?" :D
