Bad Disney cross-promotion continues.

"The Gameplan," which looked horrible in some trailers I saw a few weeks ago, looks even worse in a 15- or 30-second spot.

"So Rock, we'd like you to sign a three-film deal, but one must be a low-budget, schlocky piece of crap about a long-lost daughter who shows up on your doorstep. And you're going to have to wear a tiara."

 

Can't argue with you over that, wicked. But it has to beat most of Vince McMahon's worse-than-crap crap.

 

The wrestling or the movies?

 

Dude, it's got the Rock. I think at some point he'll likely be shirtless.

Therefore, they'll get my money.

I'm kidding. I think I went to see that movie with him and Seann William Scott, but it wasn't my call.

I probably won't even rent it. I didn't even watch him wrestle on purpose, and that was free.

 

The Rock's presence in any cinematic presentation is a flashing neon sign:

"Stay . . . The . . . Hell . . . Away . . . "

 

If it's on late-night cable, and I can turn the volume off...I'm there.
