    I'm sure it would be terrible each and every minute, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't cry until my team scored one run in the sixth, already down by 47. That just seems to make it all the more sad.

    The women's softball team at Newbury lost 22-0 on Monday as well.

    But for an explanation as to the baseball team, this is the first season they have played as a college team, previous seasons were as club teams.

    But seriously, if you're a pitcher for Newbury, why not just plunk every batter that comes to the plate? They come after you, and the pissed off fielders behind you have got your back.

    That's what we were amazed by. I'll bet half the scorebook got used up. And they only lost their fist two games by a few runs. Anyone know how they did Monday? Wasn;t on their site.
