Auburn (NY) Citizen, non-sports - curious about newsroom

Sorry if this has to be moved ... but there's an opening in the news dept at the Citizen and I was curious as to what people have heard about the newsroom. I've been given lots of mixed reviews - none of them really that good - but was wondering if there were any other opinions.

Used to be really bad. Now it's only mildly bad. The old ME was a real piece of work. He re-shuffled the newsroom to get all of his people where he wanted them before being banished to South Dakota. Unfortunately, most of his people are all still in place, although it's not nearly as bad since he left. Still, if you can put up with ridiculous office politics, you might want to give it a try.

I second what Mr. Colbert said.

It is better, but it's still not great. ME is okay, NE is pretty cool. Sports guys are fun.
