I have absolutely no desire to join that unit. Plus, I'm a MEDEVAC guy. Not a gun guy. I owe the medical side a few years of flying before I can do anything else.

Wow. I forgot Campbell was leaving for another deployment.

Have been able to meet several of the school's football players when Fort Campbell and Fort Knox play in the annual Army Bowl. That team has had some damn good kids the last few years.

Wait until you get to the closing and you sign your life away. Fun!!!

PS: Don't look at the sheet that tells you how much you're going to actually pay for the place over the life of the loan as it will make you throw up.

PPS: Get a 10-year mortgage. I'm paying about $13,000 in interest over the life of my loan.

I've actually since refinanced down to a 15 year mortgage.

I just closed on my first house, a condo. Everyone warned me about signing my life away. It wasn't as bad as I thought. Now I just have to get all my shit moved in the next 12 days, which includes a previously referenced four-day trip to NYC starting tomorrow (US Open, rain or shine).

    And just for you TBF:

    • How many Auburn freshmen does it take to change a lightbulb? Trick question, that's a sophomore course.
    • How do you get an Auburn grad off your porch? Pay him for the Pizza!
    • Why do they run out of ice at Auburn football games? The doctoral student with the recipe graduated.

Edit: Added Auburn jokes for TBF
