Methinks Manfred is crossing all his T's and giving the BoSox org a bit of time to find a replacement because Cora is getting the Pete Rose treatment.

The Texans are grateful to MLB for stepping in to mitigate their city’s ire.

You think he's getting the permanent ejection?

You think there are monitors getting yanked out of clubhouses and cameras behind outfield walls disappearing?

You can only suspend Joe Jackson for one lifetime.
By the way, Shoeless Joe should be eligible. His lifetime suspension ended when his life did. Rule Against Perpetuities

If there were any incriminating evidence before today, it has been yanked into oblivion by now.

I don't think it's out of the question.

The report kind of absolves him of any participation and even says that he disapproved, but didn't do enough to stop it. He's well liked and, obviously, very successful. He'll be hired somewhere the day his suspension ends.
