Asleep in the dugout

LA Daily News writer took a little nap in the Dodgers dugout and the team PR dude decided to tell the world.


Now, I'll admit to probably nodding off before a game when I'm really tired (or bored) too. But this can't be good form from the Dodgers, can it?

And, uhh, apologies to the writer and if I've D_B'd this topic.

 

That's my reaction whenever I watch a baseball game.

 

The blog entry has been taken down from the Dodgers' site, so I can't fully judge the context, but it seems like it's fairly innocuous. If that's the only time you get caught snoozing in a 162-game slog, God bless you.

 

Geez, give the guy a break. He's at Shea. He's lucky he didn't lapse into a coma.

 

I thought this thread was about Felipe Alou.

I wouldn't exactly say the Dodgers have had a manager show more enthusiasm than a bowling ball since the new millenium.

Hey, at least he can prove he was in the ballpark...

 

Wonder if they put his hand in warm water. Now THAT would be a funny picture.
