I'm defensive after their offense shit the bed last season.

Their pitching was shockingly not that bad, but the offense failed in a lot of games down the stretch. As did Andy Pettitte. So, if he wants to sign with LA, oh well.

Oh, and f___ Boston, just for good measure.

Dammit!! Wasn't Wazzu like 1-11 this season?

And I'll give you the same answer here:

If he goes anywhere but the Yankees it is not about the money.
How is $120 mill in SF greater than $140 mill in NY?

Because he has to play for the Giants?

I know neither team made the playoffs, but who has a better chance next season? Honestly?

Nope, they got 2 wins, thanks to your hapless team!

I have a real question, dammit!

Why is that the only men who hit on me are like 55-year-old ultraconservatives? It's gross!

    How about over 55 liberals?

That might be more acceptable. Might!

So taking less money to play where he is more comfortable means it's about the money?
And right now, with no starting pitching, no first baseman, no catcher and no center fielder the Yankees are a .500 team at best.

I tried once, but I was denied.

That's because you live half a country away, dammit!

    LIES.

They have three starting pitchers. Nick Swisher (I can't believe I just typed that), Jose Molina (who was serviceable last season) and the same terrible CF situation as last year.

So, yeah, maybe they come up short, but they will be in the hunt, better than the terrible Giants (see my latest post on the Hot Stove thread).
