Cheney to become president…briefly

WASHINGTON (CNN) – President Bush will undergo a routine colonoscopy Saturday, and will transfer power to Vice President Dick Cheney during the procedure, expected to take about two and a half hours, the chief White House spokesman said.

Tony Snow said Friday that the procedure, during which a doctor looks for any signs of cancer, will be carried out at Camp David, Maryland, and the president will be placed under anesthesia.

Bush’s last colonoscopy was in June 2002, and no abnormalities were found, Snow said.

Too many things can happen in 2.5 hours.
I will be scared for 2.5 hours.

 

So if Jones' travails are any indication, ol' George is sitting at the pot right now, butt cheeks a-quivering.

Usually, the Bush Administration is on the other end of the scope.

 

Aren't you supposed to have a colonoscopy every 10 years? Why does Bush need to have another one already? Special presidential treatment?

 

Why does President Bush need anesthesia for a colonoscopy?

It is an unpleasant experience, for sure, and I know that first hand. But I don't see why you'd need to be knocked out for it.

 

Maybe he wants to make sure he doesn't enjoy it so he doesn't catch The Gay.

 

I think you get one every five years, so it makes sense.
And I'm in a happy place over this. Bush is in a world of shit, yay!
