are there any women in Baseball HOF?

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by Sic semper tyrannis, Jun 22, 2010.

  1. Or Basketball or Football for that matter?

Hockey Hall just inducted two women in players category - Cammi Granato, Angela James.

Cant find if other halls have inducted women as players

The All-American Girls Professional Baseball League got an exhibit in the early 90s, but none of its members were inducted into the Hall of Fame (i.e., got a plaque in the main gallery).

Nancy Lieberman-Cline (sp?) is in the Basketball HOF. I'm guessing Pat Summit is as well.

There are a number of women in the Basketball Hall of Fame, which encompasses college and international play and not just professional leagues.

Nancy Lieberman, Ann Meyers, Cheryl Miller and Lynette Woodard, among others, were all inducted as players.
