    When I heard this I guessed Veronica because Archie would make the wrong choice.Just like if Gilligan could have married,he would have gone for glam Ginger instead of the more lovable Mary Ann.

    And Veronica's the one with money, right?

    (and I think Veronica was the one with the money. Mr. Lodge had serious coin. Reggie Van Pelt also had coin, IIRC.)

    Veronica has the money but we're all overlooking some basics here.
    She's either larger or, well, she finishes the job if you know what I mean.

    Plus, he can always do Betty on the side.

    Van Pelt is the last name of Lucy and Linus, from Peanuts.

    Maybe you're thinking of Reggie Van Dough, the almost-as-wealthy-but-incredibly-brattish cousin of Richie Rich.
