APSE results: Chadless?

    While I was glancing at the list of APSE winners, it struck me that I don't ever recall Norman Chad making the top 10 columnists. Why don't they pay the man, Shirley? Is he not eligible because his columns appear in 50 papers rather than one?

    Syndicated guys have never been eligible or awarded. It's for people who are columnists (or whatever) for a single daily sports section.
