That never gets old ... I hate I can't work SLC into the schedule, though, as we had a fine time there in 2002.

I hear the number is somewhere around 65 people this year

    Yikes.

Probably all staffers from the SL Tribune, Deseret News, Provo Daily Herald, Ogden Standard Examiner and Logan Herald Journal

After last year, I figured those numbers were pretty good. Wasn't last year like 48 or something

Must be this item that's packing in the extra attendees:

    Red Smith Award Luncheon
Recipient: Mitch Albom, Detroit Free Press

i heard the number was 90-plus.

  7. Whoever quoted the 65 is woefully off.....the number is a lot more than that.....and yes, Idaho, people from out of town are attending....

    Imagine that

Just got this tweet, which kind of sums up a lot of things about the state of the business these days:

Shribman at #APSE: Content sharing is an imparitive. It's a way to help us have expertise in our papers in areas we can't be at.

I've heard this was a fantastic time. Good on Salt Lake for being the first mid-major city to host and for doing it in such fine fashion.
