    just hit pause, then lock it, it will turn off by itself

    They're talking about the occassional situation when the iPod's operating system locks up, freezing the screen.

    it does have an on-off switch, it just isn't labeled as such

    i really fucking hope you're just a fan and didn't graduate from my alma mater, or else i'm going to be ashamed
