Added incentive the Yankees gave him to not re-sign with the Astros. Also, they probably would have given him a two-year deal no problem, but this way Pettitte gets to re-evaluate if he wants to play in 2008 and it costs no one anything if he doesn't want to.

There's nothing really strange about this at all.

Now if only Rocket would come back to the Bronx.

My only Christmas wish: Roger Clemens gets struck by lightning, resuscitated, run over by a cab, resuscitated, then drowned in lighter fluid and burnt to a crisp.

If I could come up with another way to nearly kill him to put in the middle, I would.

To sum up: Roger. Clemens. Must. Die.

I've held more than a couple grudges in my day (Johnny Dangerously, Tyler Durden and others will vouch for this) but damn, that's bringin' your A game, IJAG.

Shit. BYH could blow that out of the water without even trying.

I hate Pettitte, and I hate the Yankees, but even I have to admit he belong in the pinstripes.

I assume this also ends the Zito to the Yankees sub-rumors.
