Awful to see this. My prayers to him and his family.

    Awful, awful news.

Echoing what everyone above me has said previous. Speaking from personal experience (this is what killed my mother at 47 and my father-in-law in 2002), thoughts and prayers go out to the Senator to fight a terrible condition.

    Oh Christ.

Regardless of what you may think about Kennedy, this is still awful, awful news.

    Hang in there.

I just realized that days like this are why Sanjay Gupta is a name most people know.

Damn. Hope like hell they've caught it early enough to do something.

Very sorry. I wondered about that when they said he hadn't had a stroke.

    Damn.

I can attest from watching a co-worker and family member go through it: Nothing is ravaged like a human body is by cancer.

And I can't imagine anything worse than cancer to the brain.

    Thoughts and (lots of) prayers.

    Awful news.

And going to the Boston Globe webpage, as of a few minutes ago -- even after it was up on the NY Times' page for 10 minutes -- reveals nothing. Odd.

    But again, terrible news.

Terrible news and to echo the sentiments of others here, hopefully they caught it early enough so he can make a decent recovery.

Went through this with my dad, I was not surprised when they said seizure but no stroke.
That said, it can be beat.
