AP rudeness

Does any one else find the people working the agate desk for AP in New York to be exceptionally rude? I just called wondering why an NBA glance hadn't moved when the 7 p.m. games had been over for about half an hour and the guy was about the rudest SOB, like ever. It's not that difficult to be civil, and I was on my best behavior so the rudeness didn't come from me.

And I still don't have boxes, dammit!

I've never had a problem with them. I'll consider myself fortunate.

    Yes, they can be rude.

One of the things I'm glad about now is with the men's basketball poll, you can e-mail it rather than call AP in New York like you used to have to do. That way I don't have to deal with them anymore.

I usually just call the local office, then make THEM call NY. :)

Not to threadjack, but I'm pissed that we only have one photo so far from the Kansas-Mizzou game.

There's no local office here. The nearest one's in Oregon somewhere.

I still don't have boxes from the 7 p.m. games, and the 8 p.m. games are over.

There are basketball games in our BCS conference that have been over for almost two hours. Nothing. Zip. Nada. Zilch.

All that money to sell our product to Yahoo!, ESPN and the like, and where did it go? ::)
