    SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Eric Ellestad kicked a 35-yard field goal in overtime to give Minnesota a 20-17 victory over Syracuse on Saturday, spoiling the debut of Orange quarterback Greg Paulus in the opener for both teams.

    Aside from putting way too much emphasis on Paulus and being way too long, what's wrong with the lede?

    The score in the lede isn't the game score, for one thing.
