AP bowl bitching thread

It's great for briefs and short roundups, but when it comes to the World Series or a major bowl it's worthless to us. Maybe I just need to work on my patience (that might make a good resolution).

 

Patience is something you cannot afford with an East Coast deadline.

 

This thread brings a tear to my eye, after a couple of years of leading the bowl-season bitch fest about AP and its bowl-season deadline performance.

Have they been consistently bad?

 

So, how long will it take for AP to send more than 7 inches?

The game wasn't in doubt nearly the entire fourth quarter, so sending a 12-15 inch story shouldn't be a problem.

 

Actually, this wasn't a bad gig as juco bowl games go. It was played in Biloxi, which has a boatload of very nice casinos and some excellent restaurants. There are worse places you could have a bowl game.

 

It's nice to see the lack of speed applies to the NFL as well.

Just send a fucking topper on the running story.
