AP and no-hitter

    Go figure. The one time AP doesn't move a generic meaningless shot of the starting pitcher he throws a no-hitter. When do you think we'll get our Buehrle shot?

    About 30 minutes after our color deadline.

    Thanks, AP. ::)

    Nothing like a mug shot being the only thing on the wire.

    I'm not just saying this because of what happened, but moving a photo of each starting pitcher throwing a pitch should be the freaking law.

    I'm guessing it usually is.

    Is it just me, or has AP been crappy with its photo selection from baseball games this year? I always thought the standard should be 6 shots from each MLB game, one of each starting pitcher, and then one vertical and horizontal from each team.

    I really think this might be the first time all season that AP hasn't moved the starting pitchers photos. My guess is that they will for every game for at least the next week.
