Any working journalists use the software Dragon Naturally Speaking?

I bought an early version of Dragon 4 or 5 years ago and it was horrible for taped interviews. Needed to be trained, as someone pointed out and couldn't recognize two voices. A friend and I were talking about the new version recently--within the last month--which claims it doesn't have to be trained and is more accurate than ever. I thought MAYBE... given the amount of transcription I have to deal with, I'd try anything. But we each called the company and spoke to their tech support people, and then a manager, and they said it is going to still have trouble recognizing two different voices in one interview. They said the software is not quite there yet.

I use the voice recognition in MS Word 2003, and it works great when I use it.

But I don't use it too often because the process is too long. I was lucky enough to learn shorthand back in the day, and it has been great for me.
