Any a capella fans out there?

    No, and I've watched damn near every episode of that show -- mostly because it's all my dad ever wanted to watch and he controlled the TV. Glad I don't remember it. The show really could have used an episode where Barney gets caught doing speed, though. He has all the symptoms.

    Actually, I believe Barney and Raif (sp?) Hollister are trying to get the top part in the "muse-uh-cal" and Andy asks if Raif can sing a capella. Raif doesn't know what it is so Andy asks Barney and Barney starts singing, "A capella ... a capella ..."

    The Persuasions were a great acapella group. There was also a group called the Nylons which was pretty impressive.

    (and, yeah, did this in high school for two years in a select group and then again in college for three years. loved it.)

    If you can find the Persuasions' Frank Zappa tribute album...they were the first act Zappa signed to his record label.
