    Description:
The Glasgow Daily Times, a six-day afternoon daily in south central Kentucky, has an opportunity for a self-motivated, high energy sports editor to join its award-winning staff. The right candidate will possess strong grammar skills, be able to meet deadlines and work well with other reporters and editors. Page design is mandatory. The Daily Times is in Glasgow, Ky., the county seat of Barren County, which is the top producer in Kentucky of six agricultural categories. Known for its small-town charm and annual Highland Games Scottish festival, Glasgow is an hour drive from both Nashville, Tenn., home of country music and the Tennessee Titans, and Louisville, famous for the Kentucky Derby. It's also a perfect fit for those wishing to continue their education. It's only 25 miles to Bowling Green, home of Western Kentucky University, recognized as one of the top journalism schools in the country. The college also has a campus in Glasgow. We are in the midst of football season and need to fill this position quickly.
