I believe it would have taken this guy only a few hours to get to the city where the mayor wants to stamp out bathroom sex by purchasing robotic toilets with doors that automatically pop open when it appears that the person has been on the can far to long to be involved in anything other than gay sex.

Actually, offering oral sex in the bathroom does not equate with predatory sex with minors. So, it might be disturbing, but it's nothing more than a random fact. It probably never should have been used in the story. Being homosexual does not mean that you rape children. As for rooting anybody out, this guy wasn't rooted out by your sacred party. Rather, he was a working legislator at the time of his arrest.

In one, you express relief that "your" party roots out sexual predators.

In the next, you argue by implication that your party is somehow less culpable because another party might also contain sexual predators.

The two positions don't seem to be logically consistent.
