Ax had a heart problem, which is pretty much why he served in a managerial role after Crush joined up. Demolition was way too popular to just fade away at that time.

Did not know that. I do know that the Demolition theme music sucked (as did most WWF theme music, except for Legion of Doom)

One lives in Minneapolis, and his son plays football for Ohio State.

I thought one was dead, but didn't want to say without knowing for sure...

James Laurinaitis, Ohio State's top LB, is the son of Road Warrior Animal (Joe Laurinaitis) and the nephew of one of the high-ranking people in WWE, John Laurinaitis.

The Road Warriors were the best. And so was Paul Ellering. Does anyone know if Hawk's death had anything to do with the alcoholism angle WWE used a few years back, or was that just the usual BS?

I'm sure he drank a lot and he did lots of steroids. He became very religious in the final years of his life, but all the years of hard partying and all caught up to him. IIRC he died after helping his family move into a new home. At least I don't think he died trying to move a refrigerator all by himself.
