    Lesson one in sportswriting NEVER WEAR THE COLORS OR ANYTHING THAT CAN BE ASSOCIATED WITH A COMPETING TEAM WHILE WORKING.
    I learned that early on covering a Syracuse (when they were good) Penn State game in Syracuse. Just happened to be wearing blue and white (because it was clean). Not a good idea.
