The new song is acoustic, supposedly just with some light piano and acoustic guitar, and is entitled "The Wrestler"

There's a poor-quality copy circulating on the internet that I downloaded earlier today and haven't had a chance to listen to yet.

I'll post a link late tonight (after getting home from work) or tomorrow.

I've heard the song -- but it wasn't in the cut of the film that I saw.

I only heard the song once. An intense song filled with despair. It's sort of like The Hitter a little, but even more spare.

OK, just saw the engrossing trailers for Milk and Frost/Nixon, and Sean Penn may be the favorite.

    He has Milk flat-out-fucking nailed...

Langella also looks like he has a career performance on his hands.

Wow, what an incredible December this is shaping to be.

What happened to Heath Ledger being the favorite?

He's the leader for me until I actually watch these films.

But I have a feeling I will have Milk ahead of him based on the trailer.

And these Rourke notices have been incredible.

Mickey Rourke was the best part of Sin City. He should have been given some award recognition for that.

Some bootlegged a copy while sitting in the movie theater. So you've got audience applause from the end of the movie, people coughing and sneezing, but you can still hear the song.
Someone put on YouTube with just a picture of the BTR cover.

Thanks for posting. That's much better quality than the one that was on there the other day. You could hardly understand the words. That's why I didn't post it here.

    Needs a dredge....

Thanks to the Springsteen thread, I saw the trailer.

Great Springsteen song, possible he'll get his second Oscar.

The movie is so skillfully infused with autobiographical double-entendre... I haven't been so emotionally involved with a trailer.

Mickey and Sean Penn definitely duking it out for the marbles.

Great Best Actor category this year, when you account for Ledger.

Ledger will be supporting actor and he'll win it easily.

From what I hear, Milk is amazing. Penn is one of the best actors working, so I have little reason to doubt the buzz.

I would love to see Rourke win an Oscar, that would be the biggest comeback ever.
