Analyst: Gas prices to top $3.75 nationwide this spring

    Not to mention the fallout in other places -- higher grocery prices, etc.

    The actual price you pay at the pump to fill your car can is really a fraction of what you lose when gas/oil prices go up. Oil is essentially our entire economy. Every commodity is impacted by oil, whether it is made directly with petroleum products (plastics, wax) or simply packaged with them or transported by oil/gas.

    Couple high oil prices with high wheat prices and a terrible housing market, and you have all the ingredients necessary for serious recession.

    I'm tired of these mansy-pansy recessions, we need a full-on depression! Then we need a war to straighten out all these kids bling-blanging to that rap.
