An occupational first ...

I just filed a second-day story from an auto dealership.

My wheel rim froze after driving through snow, fucked my rear brakes up to the point where they had to be replaced, I shredded a tire and the rim had to be replaced. I'm out around $700. That doesn't count my hotel as I stayed an extra night to get my car fixed.

Please revel with me in my "I'm financially fucked!" celebration!

    Never heard of that ...

Do you drive a Fiat or a Le Car?

    Seriously, though, that really sucks.

The biggest upset is that the auto dealership is an ongoing concern.

    Insurance? Expense account?

I thought we'd be doing that for Mike311gd first, but whatever floats your canoe ...

There are few things worse than unexpected car repair costs. I feel your pain Bubbler. My O2 processor conked out, followed by the timing belt a month later. Goodbye budget, hello additional credit card debt.

    Perhaps a Yugo?

And, as an aside, I've filed from car dealerships several times this year alone. I used to take the laptop, eat lunch and work on a story while waiting for them to change my oil. Great way to kill an hour or so.

Well I made it home. I wouldn't wish automotive difficulties seven hours away from home on anyone.
