    From the pipeline:

Angelique Chengelis, Detroit News Michigan football writer, to ESPN to cover NASCAR. She's trying to also work out a deal where she continues to cover Michigan football on a part-time basis.

    Good for her.

Won't that be a little difficult to cover both since NASCAR races and Michigan football are usually held on the same days (or successive days)?

It would seem but who knows?

OK Moddy, not accusing you of a D_B or anything, but the hiring was announced in a press release on Dec. 13.

Smart way to get in the door: Under the guise of a job covering NASCAR, while secretly angling or college football.

Damn, Kleeda! A stake through my heart.
First I'd heard of it though and hey, my pipeline is at least correct!
Those folks have to send me those releases. Not to mention my paper.

Your pipeline may be correct, but sounds like it needs a plunger.

Well, the pipeline and toilet have something in common then. Both plugged!
I'm on the way to Home Depot. A little Tony Stewart reference there.
    Hell, they shoulda hired me!

If you have ever checked out the Detroit News coverage of the two Michigan races, you would know that she has been the main writer for both of those for several years.
