An Apology

Just a quick note tonight to offer my apologies to those of you who have PM'ed me with your stories, or those who've had a piece hanging unread for a while in the Workshop.

Apart from the occasional drive-by sociopolitical wisecrack, I haven't been around the board much this summer. As some of you know, it's already been a very long 2008 in our tiny household, and I've been hunkered down, at work on some unfamiliar material. So I've been very much inside my own head lately, and haven't been as reliable a presence for our younger writers as I should be.

In any case, please be patient, I'm trying to get caught up this week, and promise to get to everything as soon as I can.

Until then, I hope this finds you all well and healthy and doing good work.

Well, I for one am pissed.

Seriously, though, with everything you have done for many of this on this site, I don't think you ever have to apologize.

You have read countless stories that we young ones have offered with lots of advice.

You and friend of the friendless have been tremendous.

 

A post as classy as it was ridiculously unnecessary.

 

I don't frequent the workshop board as much as I should, or would like, but a post like that is just one reason why mac's one of my favorite posters here.
Take your time and don't come back until you get everything right.
