Has anyone yet figured out exactly what the fuck Meatie Pie (Nice name, asshole) is bitching about?

Still no link, and until we have the story to read, we can't comment on whether or not the placement of his being related to Christian is appropriate. And before you say it, not everybody has access to AP.

But keep spewing shit at one of the board's most respected members. Makes you look real classy.

This is an AP story. No clue if it's the one that meatie pie is so worked up about.

OK, I finally saw the AP story, so I've learned who Amobi is. Now, who's Christian?

God forbid AP be obligated to add "who is not related to Christian" in every story mentioning Amobi. Much like all stories on Rosa Parks had to feature "who is black." It's a bit stupid.

Again, Meatie. Free country. You don't have to print what AP puts out, nor do you have to read it. Let it go.

Well Meathead, if I went out and asked 200 "average" football fans if Amobi Okoye is related to Christian Okoye, at least 195 would respond: "Who the fuck is Amobi Okoye?"

And if it's so fucking important to you (actuallty, the AP piece sportschick linked was pretty damn good) to run this story and answer the burning Chrisian Okoye question, how about inserting a line somewhere that says: "Okoye, no relation to former NFL running back Christian Okoye."
Or would that require too much work on your part?

Rather asinine to assume that all black males of African heritage named Okoye are related.

Would Mudpie be bent if an AP story failed to mention whether Brady Quinn was related to Martha Quinn (obscure '80s MTV reference) or B-lister Aidan Quinn?

I checked with the judges in the booth, and they agreed that this thread has no artistic value.

    Thus, it must be pornography.

And you don't want to be caught looking at pornography, do you?

(And Dick, how dare you term a fine actor like Aidan Quinn a "B-lister.")

I'm only reading it for the pictures.

Hey now, lay off Aidan, he's done some great work. And meatie pie, why are you so angry? Do you have something against the Ap writer? Geez, go get laid and blow off some steam.

I thought I read somewhere he was related to christian, but I guess I was wrong.

One reason to treasure the early days of MTV.

You know, I heard that Christian Okoye and Martha Quinn were step-siblings...
