Sorry that your date with Dick's wife didn't work out, Moddy.

Phones in movie theaters are like phones on golf courses. If you can't put it away for a few hours, you shouldn't be there in the first place.

But I do understand where AMC is coming from. Why take "advice" about how they should treat their best customers from people that don't go to movies that often?

That's what you get for dating 22-year-olds!

    They're fun, but crazy.

Remember Moddy, casual sex is rewarding only for the first couple of decades or so.

My son won't sit through a movie. Maybe my daughter will be amenable to it. She'll be old enough for us to try soon.

I took my youngest to see a kids movie, and a woman at the other end of our aisle had her phone on and was texting. Another woman asked her to stop, the texter refused, and the confrontation got louder.

If the usher/referee hadn't stepped in, I thought we were going to get Domi/Probert III for a minute right among all the kids.

My kid never cared about movies, but sometimes we'd take him just to let him sit and munch on popcorn and be out of the house for two hours. We went to see Minions and he didn't give much indication that he was even paying attention to it. But the next time we drove by the theater, he pointed and said "Minions movie?" He barely ever asks for things, so we try to give him whenever he does to reward speaking up. Took him to see it that night. He ended up obsessed with it. I saw that movie in the theater 19 times.
