Allianz Stadium? Simon Wiesenthal would not approve

    One would think that the Jets and Giants, in a city that has the highest population of Jewish people not in Israel (a percentage of whom do, in fact, root for the Jets or Giants), would have weighed the pros and cons of doing with business with Allianz.

    Maybe I'm just silly for thinking like that.

  3. Now that the Allianz naming is a no-go (nein geh?), where does the moral relativism begin/end?

    To wit: Would the naming be acceptable/not acceptable in other cities? And, what if anything, makes it any different?

    I don't think it would be acceptable with any pro sports franchise, for reasons I explained earlier. It was just a dumber idea to try it in New York.
