Now, on this latest deal, I could be wrong, but I believe they had this crime on security video, or maybe surveillance tape. If that's the case, then it should have been cut-and-dried, regardless of who was or was not on the jury.

The civil trial, with a jury of a contrasting composition, came out somewhat differently, as I recall.

It is odd. I think there are a lot of reports that have to be filed, backgrounds, similar cases, yada yada.

"Best defense team money could buy" was a horrible defense team that was outdone only by a worse prosecution.

One sentence got O.J. off the first time, and had little to do with the overall defense effort:

"If it does not fit, you must acquit."

8 words bought him his freedom. Idiocy afterward lost it.
